Our Freedom Suites Facebook and Messenger groups are a great place for general conversation and connection across the freelancer community. To help keep them welcoming for everyone, we ask that all members read and follow the guidelines below. We do monitor both groups against these guidelines and will remove members or posts where needed to keep things safe and respectful — if you have any questions, please get in touch.
All members must:
- Be kind and courteous — We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Please treat everyone with respect. Healthy debate is natural, but kindness isn't optional.
- Respect everyone's privacy — Being part of these groups relies on mutual trust. Open, honest discussion is what makes a community great, but it can also be sensitive and personal. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.
- Raise personal issues privately — If you have a criticism, concern or complaint about another freelancer or a Freedom Suites team member, please raise it with them directly and privately rather than airing it in the group.
- Do not use hate speech, foul language, or bullying — This is a community space, and everyone has the right to feel safe here. Bullying of any kind, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity, will not be tolerated.
- Keep maintenance and account requests out of the group — These forums aren't the right place for that. Please use the Non-Urgent Request link (at the top of the Facebook group page, or in the site folder on-site) so your request gets handled promptly.
